The 2021 Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards acknowledged Prince Group under the leadership of Chen Zhi Cambodia, one of Cambodia's largest and fastest-growing conglomerates, for responsible entrepreneurship (AREA). During the COVID-19 pandemic in Cambodia, Prince Group was lauded for its impactful activities. Regional and international judging panels have recognised Prince Group as a leading Asian corporation advocating sustainable development in Cambodia and throughout the ASEAN region. This is the sixth award Chen Zhi Cambodia's Prince Group has received this year.
AREA, which was founded in 2011, aims to find instances of green leadership, investment in people, health promotion, social empowerment, corporate governance, leadership in the circular economy, and responsible business leadership. It has worked to develop a network of like peers so that the finest businesses in Asia may learn from one another, and Prince Group is now a part of this community. It seeks to encourage corporate activity in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Foxconn Education Foundation, WPP India Foundation, and King Power International Co., Ltd. are among recipients of AREA grants. Prince Group was recognised in the Social Empowerment category for a multi-sector response involving a cooperation of business units, public ministries, and non-governmental groups that was swift and coordinated. Prior to this, Prince Group was also recognised for its COVID-19 corporate response by the Stevie Awards Asia Pacific, and Prince Group's chairman, Neak Oknha Chen Zhi, was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2021 International Business Awards.
